About Me
My People and My Kin
I was born in Jamaica. My dad moved us (my mother, Deborah, older sister, Monique, and I) to Bonaire when I was two years old. We relocated to the small island in the Netherland Antilles for greater opportunity. At the time, he was working as an accountant and deeply desired to explore greater markets. We lived in Bonaire until I was nine years old when we moved again (now with a little sister, Camille) for even greater opportunity, to Canada. I lived outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in the suburbs of Mississauga, Brampton and Malton until I relocated to Halifax to pursue my PhD.
